Most Punctual Airports — Mega Airports
Similar to previous airport punctuality rankings, Moscow’s Sheremetyevo delivered an outstanding performance in July. With departure punctuality of 93.4%, Moscow Sheremetyevo wins the title of the world’s most punctual mega airport. Moreover, Tokyo and Moscow are the only mega airports that managed to operate above 90% punctuality. Moreover, from positions five to ten, the airports achieved an average on-time performance of 83% and lower.

Most Punctual Airports — Large Airports
Although there’s no large airport that achieved a better on-time performance than Moscow’s 93.4%, the overall performance of large airports seems to be above the mega airports. None of the airports on the list achieved punctuality below 80% and most of them operated above 85%.
|2||GRU||Sao Paulo Guarulhos||89.4%||7,597|
|3||PMI||Palma de Mallorca||88.6%||9,154|
Most Punctual Airports — Medium Airports
When looking at the performance of medium airports, the results are much better compared to large and mega airports. All of the top 10 medium airports achieved an on-time performance of 94% and above. Moreover, Port Moresby, the airport ranked first, achieved an outstanding punctuality level of 98.6%. On top of that, Nagasaki and Dublin both achieved an on-time result above 96%.
|7||CGH||Sao Paulo Congonhas||94.4%||3,420|
Most Punctual Airports — Small Airports
Surprisingly smaller airports did not perform as well as medium airports. For example, although Kumamoto achieved an excellent result (95.4%), many other airports performed below 90%.
