Designing Information since 1996

Information Design was founded in 1996 as Informationsdesign GmbH, with the clear vision to turn enterprise data into valuable and insightful information – with the goal not only to create information but also to design it. Dedicated to this idea, Information Design grew steadily to more than 50 employees at its headquarters in Frankfurt and attracted internationally renowned aviation companies, such as Lufthansa, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Cathay Pacific, or Deutsche Flugsicherung.

Information Design is a aviation technology company with operations worldwide. Achieving positive financial results since its beginning, Information Design has been generating a sustainable revenue growth with more than 50 employees at its headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany.

Information Design structured the business segments inline with the corporate strategy in 2018. Since then, Information Design re-organized into the business sectors Enterprise Services and Products.
The business sector Enterprise Services focusses on software solutions for large aviation enterprises, offering the complete IT value chain from data integration, to data warehousing and visualization. Our business sector Products offers standardized information solutions to aviation companies of all sizes.

Strategy

It is Information Design’s goal to be the first choice for clients, employees and partners within the aviation technology sector. Based on this and our strategy we systematically develop information products and services aiming to make our clients performance transparent and more efficient.

Our two business sectors are aligned to create strong synergies in terms of technology and innovations. Therefore, our clients benefit from economies of scale, when choosing our cloud-based solutions, which offer a vast amount of functionalities off-the-shelf.
