Therefore, we’ve analyzed the traffic figure of Asia’s airports from February to July 2021. As a result, we present Asia’s Top 50 Largest Airports in 2021.

China Dominates!
Corona had a massive impact on Asia’s international aviation traffic. However, due to its immense domestic traffic, China’s airports dominate this ranking. 36 of Asia’s top 50 airports are located in China. Moreover, eight of the ten biggest Asian airports can be found in China.

Guangzhou is Asia’s Largest Airports
Based on flight volume, Guangzhou (CAN) wins the trophy of Asia’s largest airport in 2021. From February to July, Guangzhou operated 96,500 flights. However, Chongqing is close behind with 95,700 flights.

Tokyo & Delhi are Biggest “Non-Chinese” Airports
When excluding China from the ranking, Japan’s and India’s capital represent the biggest non-Chinese airports. Tokyo Haneda operated 74,400 flights, and Delhi 71,000.
