World’s Top 20 Most Punctual Airlines
The award for the most punctual airline in July 2021 goes to Eurowings. The German low-cost and leisure carrier wins the prestigious award for the first time. Despite a busy holiday season, Eurowings managed to operate 98.3% of its flights on time — an outstanding performance. However, it is amazing to see that all top 20 airlines achieved a punctuality level of above 90%.
Here are some more key facts about the top 20 ranking:
No North American Airline on the ranking
The list of the world’s most punctual airlines is purely dominated by European and Asian airlines. There’s not a single North American carrier that made it into the top 20.
Only one Latin American Airline
Similar to North American airlines, Latin American carriers do not play an essential role. However, with Brazil’s GOL, at least one Latin American airline is represented in the top 20.
